Neighborhood Cleanup by Appointment
You
no longer need to wait for our collection crews to be in
your neighborhood. Now, Sacramento County will
provide once-per-year pick-up of your bulky waste by
appointment.
Simply
call the County at (916) 875-5555 to schedule a pick-up. The same
collection set-out instructions apply (see below).
- Place materials out for
collection no more than 24 hours before pick up.
- Place your pile in front of your
home, at edge of street.

Don't place pile next to garbage
containers or parked vehicles
and must not block
traffic.
- Piles without appointments $50
extra.
- Extra material allowed at a cost
of $25 per 5 cubic yards.
- One appointment allowed per year.
Amount
Five (5) cubic yards of material, which is a pile about
8'x4'x4', is the maximum that will be accepted. This is
also about the size
of a pickup truck bed filled even to the top of the cab.
Extra material will be picked up for a charge or $25 per
5 cubic yards.

Please use your green waste container as much as possible for leaves, grass,
weeds and prunings. Tree/shrub trimmings for the Neighborhood Cleanup
program shall not exceed FOUR inches in diameter and FIVE feet in length.
Lawn clippings and leaves should be placed in plastic bags.

and garden chemicals are not accepted by this program. Hazardous waste can be
dropped off at the North Area Recovery Station.

our community clean. The County offers
a reward up to $250 for all tips that result
in the arrest/citation of any person dumping
